ABOUT ME

Mo Herman for Salem Township Trustee loves this community and wants to see us grow.  I have lived in Salem Township for a little less than a decade and have grown to love this area.  I grew up in Clermont County with my Mom, Dad, and two older sisters.  I attended grade school in Goshen and graduated from Clermont Northeastern.  After graduation I attended the University of Cincinnati and moved to Michigan, later to Colorado before returning home to be close to my family again.  Since returning home in 2003 I have lived both in  Butler and Warren County.

Community and helping people has always been a big part of my life and I intend to continue helping my community as Township Trustee.  I currently volunteer as a Warren County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) were I advocate in court for children in foster care.  I also am a Red Cross DAT (Disaster Action Team) volunteer-currently in training.  I setup a lot of volunteer options at my workplace with a focus on local opportunities and veterans affairs.

I live on almost 12 wooded acres, known as Chick-A-Bee Acres, were I have beehives and laying hens and sell honey and eggs.  I sell the honey and plants at the Morrow Market.  I also have a beautiful dog and cats. I love all types of animals, and love to garden and spend time outdoors.

PROVEN LEADER

Mo Herman for Salem Township Trustee has built a successful career in the quality assurance and continuous improvement field that has branched across multiple industries.  For the past fifteen years I have worked in the aviation and defense industry, however I also have experience in telecommunications, medical device, and automotive industries.  I appreciate working in the defense industry as supporting our nation is deeply important to me.

A proven leader in quality assurance for more than twenty five years which includes developing business management systems and auditing for compliance.  A manager of people by coaching, mentoring, and developing people to bring out the best in them.

I also lead the Continuous Improvement team where we help to develop the culture to improve every day.  Removing waste, making things more visual, and processing material and information in the most efficient way possible are some of the key aspects of continuous improvement. I will bring that efficient and economical thinking to the position of Township Trustee to ensure that we are not wasting tax payer dollars.

I was raised with a strong work ethic, and have had a job since the age of fifteen; earning what you get was what my parents taught us.
